Effective Raccoon Relocation
Raccoons may be adorable to watch, but they’re destructive nuisance animals. Raccoons can be destructive by nature. They often can gain access to residential attics by tearing off soffit panels, ridge caps or entering roofs or gable vents. Too, raccoons find accommodations in residential chimneys. Raccoons do these things for two reasons: hibernation or to raise families.
SRWC will humanely remove raccoons by live trapping or by using certain natural scents that will drive them away from the area that they’re habitating. After raccoons have been removed, entrance points will be sealed up, preventing further wildlife residency. In the case of chimneys, they can be capped.
Raccoons may be adorable to watch, but they’re destructive nuisance animals. They’re cunning and crafty, and they’ll even invade your attic by tearing off soffit panels or ridge caps. Entering through air vents is another favorite method.
You can rely on Stone River Wildlife Control for prompt, humane removal and exclusion methods for the raccoons on your property. We’ll live trap and relocate them (including their babies) to wooded areas that are more appropriate. We’ll also use repellent deterrents to discourage them from returning to your building.
Watchful Disease Prevention
As with other wildlife, raccoons at times can carry distemper or rabies. If SRWC observes signs of these two diseases in a raccoon, they will be euthanized to prevent further transmission and agony of the carrier.
